World Athletics Cross Country Running awareness walk held UO

Okara (HRNW) The University of Okara’s Directorate of Sports recently hosted a World Athletics Cross Country Running Awareness Walk on campus. The event saw a large turnout of faculty members and students, who were eager to participate in this exciting initiative. The walk was organized to raise awareness about the importance of sports and fitness in our daily lives.
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Okara, Prof Dr Muhammad Wajid, was in attendance at the event. He expressed his delight at the turnout, emphasizing the importance of sports in fostering a healthy and active lifestyle. “I am pleased to see the enthusiasm of the students at this eve. The University of Okara is committed to promoting sports and fitness among our students and faculty, and I believe that this initiative will go a long way in achieving that goal,” he said.
Dr Shoib Saleem, the Director of Sports at UO, echoed the VC’s sentiments, stating that the event was a great success. “The World Athletics Cross Country Running Awareness Walk was a wonderful opportunity for our students and faculty to come together and celebrate the importance of sports and fitness. We hope that this event will inspire others to take up a more active lifestyle,” he said.
