Imran joins NAB probe in Al-Qadir Trust case

RAWALPINDI (HRNW) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan appeared before the NAB Rawalpindi on Tuesday in alleged illegal transfer of 190 million pounds in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

The NAB investigation team interrogated the PTI chief for more than one hour. During investigation, Mr Khan told the accountability bureau that the Cabinet Division had all the record pertaining to any decision taken on 190 million pounds. He said he had no access to record of the UK government.

He was of the view that NAB had already taken in its custody all the record about the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan had left Zaman Park, Lahore for Islamabad, along with his wife Bushra Bibi with a short convoy.

NAB had asked Imran Khan to answer 20 questions related to the alleged illegal transfer of 190 million pounds. In the new notice, the NAB had also sought from Mr Khan details of his assets, for which he reached the NAB Rawalpindi office.
