Lahore (HRNW) The Hamdard Mushaira, jointly organized by Lahore Arts Council and Hamdard Pakistan, is set to take place on 6th June 2023 at 4 pm in Alhamra Hall No. 2. The Mall to pay homage to famous poet Amjad Islam Amjad. The renowned poet Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi will be presiding over the mushaira, while Dr. Tahseen Faraqi will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
The lineup of poets includes Farhat Abbas, Captain Atta Muhammad Khan, Iqbal Rahi, Wajid Amir, Nasir Bashir, Hasnain Sehar, Saima Aftab, Shabbir Hassan, Rahila Ashraf Rajput, Tasneem Kausar, Seemab Zafar, and Iqbal Payam.
Mr. Niaz Hussain Lakhvira and Ms. Naveen Rooma will skillfully host the mushaira.
Executive Director Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Sagar said this highly anticipated event promises an evening filled with exquisite poetry, creating an enchanting atmosphere for all poetry enthusiasts and lovers of Urdu.
