Lahore (HRNW) A women’s desk has been established at Lahore Arts Council Al-Hamra to receive applications from women artists applying for the Artist Support Fund. Muhammad Saleem Sagar, the Executive Director, stated that this initiative aims to facilitate the application process for women artists. The women’s desk is at the entrance of the Alhamra Arts Council’s administrative block, where the Alhamra staff collects applications from women artists.
It is important to note that the Department of Information and Culture, under the direction of the Government of Punjab, is accepting applications for the Al Hamra Artist Council’s Artist Support Fund 2023-24. So far, hundreds of applications have been received from artists, and the process is running smoothly.
