Making slaves and accepting slavery is the greatest sin: Khalid Maqbool

KARACHI (HRNW) MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that making slaves and accepting slavery is the biggest sin.
Addressing a seminar on the role of workers in Pakistan’s development in Karachi, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that the democracy of Pakistan has given me as much freedom as I will speak the truth. Desire for freedom, desire and security is the greatest worship of the universe.
He said that Pakistan was supposed to be a model for the world of Islam, but who made it a market? We migrated and left the regional identity across the border.
He said that we were very lucky that we got freedom. We are very unfortunate that we did not value freedom. It is not like that Pakistan went into the hands of those who were the best slaves in the world.
He said that we came to Karachi, the capital built by Quaid-i-Azam. We were pushed behind Bhutto’s Pakistan.
