Alhamra Sparkles in 76th Pakistan Independence Day Celebrations

Lahore (HRNW) Vibrant celebrations marked the 76th Pakistan Independence Day, orchestrated by Lahore Arts Council Alhamra. Amidst the festive atmosphere, Punjab’s Secretary of Information and Culture, Mr Ali Nawaz Malik, symbolized unity as he cut the cake and planted a sapling.
Expressing his joy, he reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding freedom and saluted the pioneers of Tehreek-e-Pakistan. A heartfelt prayer ceremony commenced the day, invoking blessings for the country’s growth, prosperity, peace, and security.

Executive Director of Alhamra Muhammad Saleem Sagar led the unfurling of the flag, joined by a multitude of people and Alhamra officers. A shower of flower petals graced the majestic green crescent flag. In a touching moment, a young girl paid homage to those who fought valiantly for the homeland.

Reflecting on the day’s significance, Mr Sagar emphasized that the true essence of freedom lies in dedicating oneself to Pakistan’s welfare.

A captivating band performance and spirited participation in the Azadi Walk. The joy of the occasion was shared through the distribution of flags and snakes among children and adults, fostering a sense of unity. A young girl, alongside the Executive Director of Alhamra, inaugurated an exhibition featuring photographs and portraits of freedom leaders. This visual journey through photographs showcased the story of Pakistan’s struggle for independence, making history come alive.
