BANNU: (HRNW) At least nine soldiers martyred in a suicide attack on security forces convoy in Janikhel area of district Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, media reported quoting ISPR.
The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, says that a suicide attack took place near an army convoy in Jani Khel area of Bannu.
ISPR says that 9 soldiers of Pakistan Army have been martyred in the suicide attack.
The ISPR added that 5 security personnel were also injured in the suicide attack.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has expressed regret over the martyrdom of 9 soldiers in the terrorist attack in Bannu.
The Prime Minister said that the heart is saddened by the martyrdom of 9 brave soldiers and the injuries of others in the cowardly attack by terrorists in Bannu, these incidents of terrorism are condemnable.
