SFA is providing training to the students of universities of Sindh in food industry . Agha Fakhr Hussain

Karachi (HRNW)  Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain has visited Burns Road Food Street along with the students of Food Sciences and Technology Department of Tando Jam University. Sindh Food Authority is providing training to the students of Tando Jam University under a programme.
It should be noted that SFA has signed a memorandum with the public and private universities of Sindh under which
Sindh Food Authority will provide practical training to the students of Food Sciences and Technology Department and will provide support in establishing food labs in these universities.

On the occasion of the visit, DG SFA Agha Fakhar Hussain said ‘ Sindh Food Authority also gives stipends to the students receiving training.
In the first phase, students of Karachi University’s Food Sciences and Technology Department were trained. Practical training in their field will be provided to the students of Food Sciences and Technology Department of all the universities ‘ .
He further said that
Burns Road Food Street is being made a model food street and this visit is also a part of the same project. SFA also helps students find employment in the food industry after graduation.
