World Health Day calls for more medical reforms in our country: Shaukat Virk

Lahore: (HRNW) Founder and General Secretary of Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust, Dr. Shaukat Babar Virk has said that the World Health Day requires more medical reforms. The resources allocated by the state for public health are not enough. In this era of inflation, common people are at the mercy of private hospitals.

The number of government medical centers is also insufficient in proportion to the population. If we look at the health facilities available to the common man in Pakistan, we cannot be satisfied. In one of his statements on the occasion of World Health Day, Dr. Shaukat Babar Virk further said that no one can deny the need and importance of establishing more charitable medical institutions on the model of Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust for tireless service to humanity in Pakistan.

Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust has provided modern healthcare facilities to millions of indigent and deserving patients in a short span of time since its inception. He said that the number of beneficiaries benefiting from our state of the art dialysis center is in thousands. We are also providing medicines free of charge and the credit goes to the trusted donors of Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust.

Our donors are supporting us at every stage. He said that the citizens should take good care of their health and theirs, while avoiding the use of bad food and poor products during meals. For standard and ideal health, consumption of healthy food should be ensured. He said that Dr. AQ Khan Hospital Trust is rapidly setting the stages of its construction. ALLAH’s willing, its completion will be a breath of fresh air for the citizens of Lahore.
