KARACHI (HRNW) A bandit was arrested in an injured condition after an alleged police encounter near Muach Goth area of Karachi. The injured robber has been identified as Sameer.
According to police officials, the police signaled two suspects on a motorcycle to stop near Moach Goth bridge. Instead of stopping, the accused started firing at the police.
After retaliatory firing, two accused including one injured accused were arrested. According to the police, two pistols and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the arrested accused.
The police say that the motorcycle recovered from the possession of the accused was stolen from the Kalari area. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
