PTI leaders Asad Qaiser, Taimur Saleem Jhagra and others allowed to contest

ISLAMABAD (Hrnw) – Several candidates, including PTI leader and NA speaker Asad Qaiser and former provincial minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra, were allowed to contest.

The Election Tribunal, Judge Justice Shakeel Ahmed, accepted the appeal of PTI leader Asad Qaiser.

Notably, Asad Qaiser’s papers for NA-19 and PK-50 constituencies were initially rejected.

Concurrently, Election Tribunal judge Justice SM Atique Shah declared the documents of three constituencies for Taimur Saleem Jhagra as valid, overturning the rejection by the Returning Officer for NA 28, PK 75, and PK 79.

The tribunal also approved nominations for other candidates, and a final decision on all appeals is expected by January 10.
