Big relief to Sharifs: NAB closes investigation in Sharif Trust case

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – The NAB (National Accountability Bureau) Executive Board has closed the investigation in the Sharif Trust case against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.

The board approved closing six “corruption” cases in a meeting held with NAB chief in the chair.

The cases which have been closed include an inquiry against Islamabad IG Akbar Nasir Khan in the Safe City corruption case; the Park Enclave Housing Society against the CDA officers; a probe into the recruitment of favored persons against the officers of the federal government and cases against Shahid Malik and Shehbaz Ysin Malik.
