Karachi (HRNW) A total of 6692 vehicles were checked till the second day of road checking campaign of Sindh Excise and Taxation Department .According to the details, 1589 in Karachi, 1789 in Hyderabad, 1206 in Sukkur,
885 in Larkana, 725 in Mirpur Khas and 498 vehicles were checked in Shaheed Benazirabad.
A total of 651 vehicles were impounded while the documents of 670 vehicles were also seized.
A total of more than 58 lac 80 thousand rupees tax was collected till the second day. Director General Excise and Taxation Sindh Aurangzeb Panhoor has said in a statement that
The road checking campaign to collect tax from tax defaulting vehicle owners will continue till March 7.
