Karachi (HRNW) A total of 13095 vehicles have been checked till the fourth day of road checking campaign of Sindh Excise and Taxation Department. According to the details, 3259 in Karachi, 3745 in Hyderabad, 1786 in Sukkur, 1686 in Larkana, 1300 in Mirpur Khas and 1319 vehicles were checked in Shaheed Benazirabad.
Till the end of the fourth day, a total of 1459 vehicles were impounded while the documents of 1324 vehicles were also seized . Till the end of the fourth day of the road checking campaign to nab the tax defaulting vehicles, more than one crore 26 lakh rupees tax has been collected from the owners of tax defaulting vehicles.
According to a statement by Director General Excise and Taxation Sindh Aurangzeb Panhwar, the road checking campaign to collect tax from tax defaulting vehicles will continue till March 7.
