Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has met well known economist Qaiser Bengali in his office at the Sindh Secretariat. During the meeting, economist Qaiser Bengali briefed Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo regarding Sindh Industrial Policy.
Secretary Industries and Commerce Muhammad Yasin Shar Baloch and MD SITE Ghazanfar Qadri were also present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Sindh Industrial Policy was discussed in detail. On this occasion, Qaiser Bengali to proposed to Provincial minister to establish Sindh Industrial Development Corporation. This corporation should be formed under public private partnership.
Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that industrialists should be encouraged to set up industries in Sindh to help end unemployment and all stakeholders should be taken on board on Sindh Industrial Policy.
He added, Sindh is leading in public private partnership ‘ . On this occasion, the economist Qaiser Bengali said that Industrialists should be encouraged to set up technical industries in rural Sindh. Efforts should be intensified to promote the establishment of industries Sindh.
Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that Sindh government is working hard for industrial development. A briefing will also be given to Chief Minister Sindh and Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sindh Industrial Policy so that it can be implementedat earliest.
He said that emphasis should be placed on the establishment of industries in rural areas so that unemployment in rural areas can be eliminated.
