Hyderabad (HRNW) Secretary of Hyderabad Divisional Olympic Sports Committee, Perwaiz Ahmed Sheikh, along with committee members Ahmed Nawaz and Rameez Raja, met with Chairman Muzaffar Hussain Siddiqui of UC 112 Latifabad at the Skating Sports Arena. The delegation thanked the chairman for his support in renovating sports facilities, including the skating arena, grounds, courts, walking areas, and family parks, and providing opportunities for sports activities and entertainment for children, sportsmen, and citizens in the area.
The chairman welcomed the delegation and assured them of his support for promoting sports at the grassroots level. Taekwondo Master Usman Danish, area residents, and parents of young athletes were also present on the occasion.
The delegation appreciated the chairman’s efforts in prioritizing the renovation and maintenance of sports facilities, which will benefit the local community, especially the youth. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration and coordination between the Olympic Sports Committee and the local government to promote sports and healthy activities in the region.
On this occasion, Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh assured to provide all possible coordination and technical support on behalf of Olympic sports including sports organizers and committee officials Aisha Irum, Anila Mehwish for girls sports in particular, so that different talents from the grass root level should be enlightened and prepared for regular sports competitions.
