Karachi (HRNW) Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan, Karachi Division filed an application with the police against extortion from those who come to buy animals.
In Sukhan police station, the citizen applied for legal action against extortion at the exit points of Mehran Highway in Buffalo Colony.
The application has been submitted by Mubasher Qadeer Abbasi, President of Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan, Karachi Division. The petition states that some unknown persons in the Cattle Colony are extorting money from those who come to buy sacrificial animals and are regularly camping at the exits of the colony.
According to the petitioner, extortion is being collected at National Highway Road No. Safar and Road No. Twelve and PQA Road Junction along with PBS Petrol Pump.
The petitioner has requested the SHO Sukhan police station to stop the extortion in their police station limits and take action against those involved in this illegal activity.
