CM MARYAM NAWAZ SHARIF APPRECIATES ALL STAKEHOLDERS FOR MAKING BEST ARRANGEMENTS ON ASHURA

Lahore (HRNW)- “Very Good and Well Done,” Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif appreciated all Ministers, Cabinet Committee on Law & Order, Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, RPOs and DPOs for making best administrative and security arrangements on Ashura, write chairing a video link meeting of all the stakeholders concerned. She appreciated them all by taking their names one by one. She highlighted, “My team made me proud by making great arrangements.”
Madam Chief Minister highlighted, “On behalf of Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, I congratulate everyone.” Inspector General Police, Home Secretary and other relevant officers also participated in the meeting.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised “Sabil on Wheels” for the mourners, and commended the first-ever provision of ‘Niaz’ at government level. She said, “Before Ashura, provincial ministers personally met and took on board scholars of different schools of thought to ensure peace and harmony on the Day.” She added,”Law and order was ensured by following the security instructions.”
Madam Chief Minister said,” Ministers, officers and police remained in the field day in and day out.” She added, “Drone monitoring of large processions has been very beneficial.” She directed immediate arrest of those responsible for the incident in Sheikhupura.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said, “Security arrangements without shutting down mobile phone and internet services is a huge success.” She added, “Traffic management across Punjab was also satisfactory.”
Madam Chief Minister acknowledged, “During Muharram, there was an excellent display of cooperation between police and other institutions.” She said, “Despite long queues at ‘Sabils’, discipline was exemplary, with people patiently waiting for their turn.” She added,”The sprinkling of rose water on Muharram processions was a good practice, and cleaning the routes with electric speed after the processions was also very commendable.”
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted, “The administration and police in all districts worked with interest to meet the challenge.” She said, “The Shia scholars expressed their gratitude for the arrangements.” She added, “Success in every task is due to team efforts.” She acknowledged, “Ministers, Cabinet Committee, Home Secretary, IG, Commissioners and all other stakeholders worked hard.”
Madam Chief Minister said, “Police officers put themselves at risk to protect others.” She added, “We will provide all available resources for the protection of police.” She underscored, “The news of martyrdom of a security official is very heavy on my heart.”
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said, “In the coming days, foolproof arrangements will be made to improve law and order.” She added, “We will provide all possible facilities to pilgrims going to Iran and Iraq.”
Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Information & Culture Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari attended the meeting. Chairperson CM Elevation Cell Brigadier (Retd) Babar Alauddin and other relevant officers were also present.
