Naushahro Feroze (HRNW) Sindh Home and Law Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar presided over a meeting in Naushahro Feroze to discuss the traffic management measures and provide facilities to citizens during the rainy season. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Naushahro Feroze, elected municipal representatives, and relevant police officials.
The DC Naushahro Feroze briefed the meeting on the recent rainfall and expected rains and the measures taken in this regard.
Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar directed that the central roads, choke points/traffic pressure points, and drainage systems in the city and district be improved, and relevant institutions and stakeholders be taken on board.
He said that during the rains, all municipal employees’ leaves should be canceled, and their field/ground duty should be ensured, and all such employees should be strictly bound not to leave their duty points under any circumstances.
He warned that if any negligence or laxity is found in providing facilities to citizens during the rains, the entire responsibility will be on the employees on duty, and strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
