HRNW: Dr. Fowzia the sister of Dr. Afia is agonized by the rumors that have been floating around of the death of her sister, she added by telling HRNW that “it is the governments job to see the claims and news that float without any authenticity”.
She also added: “it is also hard to calm down all the supporters and people who are in favor of my sister, I am sure she is fine by the grace of Allah, but I urge the government to take strict actions against those who have been spreading his rumor and get them to justice.”
“The Islamabad High court has ordered the government to let us be aware of the conditions and health of Dr. Afia weekly which the government has failed to do sadly, the court has also ordered the PM of Pakistan Mr. Nawaz sharif to raise the issue while on his visit to the US for more information’s and release case.”
“The rumors cannot be taken lightly and I urge everyone to pray that she comes back home safe and sound.”
