KARACHI: HRNW
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh demands for establishment of an inter-city bus terminal of international standard in the city.
While addressing to the media at the Karachi Press Club after a meeting with members of Sindh Air Conditioned Bus Owners Association, PTI MPA Khurram Sher Zaman said despite being a business hub of the country, Karachi has been neglected by all previous provincial governments, including present monarchs, whose are ruling since 8 years consecutively. “We demand the government to have mercy on Karachi,” he said.
Zaman said bus owners are facing massive problems as they do not have a proper bus terminal, which is why they are often stressed by law enforcement agencies on illegal parking.
The association’s general secretary, Haji Abdul Rauf, said we have been demanding such a facility since the last 40 years but for no reason we are being neglected. Zaman demanded that a ‘high level’ bus terminal with proper privileges should be built by the government.
