Karachi (HRNW) Mr.Maqsood Ahmed Memon has been posted as DIGP Security in order to improve the performance & efficiency of other police departments by the interior ministry Sindh on recommendation of IGP Sindh Mr.Allah Dino Khowaja on behalf of his extraordinary performance. Furthermore, correspondent while highlighting the career of Mr.Maqsood Ahmed Memon said that he started his career as commissioned officer in Pakistan Navy and later joined police services group as Assistant Superintendent of Police. He rendered his services as ASP Larhore, SP ACLC, TPO in Karachi and as SSP Centralized Security Headquarter where he commanded 8000 police personnel. Later he took charge as AIGP Secuirty & established special unit in which 3000 police personnel were trained according to international standard.
As commandant of Elite Police Training Center during the year of 2012 to 2015 he made reforms according to modern standards.He was also awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) in recognition of his services in 2012 & he is also vice president of International Police Association Pakistan, Sindh.
