Karachi (HRNW) : At least two terrorists were killed and another was apprehended in an alleged armed encounter with the personnel of law-enforcement agency in Wednesday’s wee hours. According to Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) In-charge Raja Umar Khattab, the CTD force sprang into action against the terrorists on a tip-off.
The CTD operation led to an alleged armed encounter with the terrorists in Karachi area Ahsanabad, resulting in death of two terrorists and injuries to another.
The killed terrorists were identified as Rehan and Abdush Shakoor. The former was Karachi chief of Al-Qaeda Sub-Continent.
Briefing the media about the incident, CTD chief said the killed saboteurs were wanted in attacks on police and Rangers.
