CM meets with Chief Instructor NDU, Major General Inayat Hussain

Karachi (HRNW) A delegation of 230 participants of National Security and War Course 2020, led by the Chief Instructor NDU, Major General Inayat Hussain were welcomed at the CM House. The Chief Minister, Sindh welcomed the participants, sharing the unique heritage of Sindh. Highlighting the significance of Sindh as a land of opportunities for investment, he shared the success of Thar coal power project with the production of 660 mega watts of coal-fired power.
The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Kazi Kabir, IG Police Dr Kaleem Imam, Secretary Finance Hassan Naqvi, Member P&D Fatah Tunio and others.
IG Police Dr Kaleem Imam gave a presentation to the members of the delegation on composition of the police force, law and order and reforms being introduced to curb crime in the province.
On this occasion, the IG Sindh provided an overview of Sindh Police, it’s challenges and achievements. The IG highlighted the improved law and order situation particularly in Karachi in recent years.
A briefing on the financial position of the government of Sindh was provided by Secretary Finance, followed by a briefing on health, education and planning and development of the province.
Presentations were followed by an engaging question and answer session between the participants and the Honourable CM.
The delegation thanked the Chief Minister and his team for hosting them and affording them the opportunity of an interactive session with the Honorable CM.
