Airport police arrests five employees of PIA, involved in theft of passenger valuables

Karachi (HRWN)- On the directives of Station House Officer Kaleem Moosa ,Airport Police Station team arrested five employees of PIA who involved in theft of passenger valuables. In which two of them was working as permanent employee and three were working on a contract basis in the department.
It was learned that the Complainant Mian Mustafa Kamal submitted complainant that his wife was traveling from Karachi to Peshawar on 30th October by PIA flight PK-356 , where her jewelry and cash from suit case was stolen.

After the submission of said complaint SHO Kaleem Moosa initiated the enquiry and activated the spy informers to resolve this case and yesterday finally Airport Police has identified five staff members of Pakistan International Airlines who were involved in the theft of passenger jewelerry and cash from her bag.

Kaleem Moosa informed that the staff members of PIA identified as Shahid Muslim S/o Muslim Khan,Tufail S/o Fazal, Musharaf S/o Ashraf, Parvez S/o Abdul Majeed and Tanveer S/o Inayat.

It was revealed that four of them were working as baggage attendant and one is a supervisor , who during the enquiry admitted that theft the jewelry items from the baggage of lady passenger namely Qurat Ul Ain Shah W/o Mian Mustafa who was travelling from Karachi to Peshawar by PIA flight.

Further, It was observed that the said accuseds arrested by the information of Airport Police Station own sources.

Whereas, Ninety Thousand rupees cash and all theft items recovered from the said arrested persons. However FIR No. 137/19 under section 380/34 PPC registered against the said accuseds.

Moreover SHO informed that further enquiry is underway from the said arrested persons.
