NAB Karachi at last catches the notorious land grabber and fraudulent developer

Karachi (HRNW)- NAB Karachi has arrested Haji Adam Jokhio wanted as accused in inquiry. Haji Adam Jokhio allegedly cheated public at large by defrauding around 1100 allottees of their rightful ownership by booking plots in their names and receiving huge sums of amounts in lieu of same back in 1992. Haji Adam Jokhio has been depriving allottees for last 27 years as the value of land was increased manifold. The project launched under name of Gulshan e Dozan by Haji Adam Jokhio suffered illegalities on various counts, while the land of 70 acres was also illegal. The value of land is approximately Rs 3.5 billion.

Haji Adam Jokhio being part of land mafia has been operating since decades in usurping Govt lands and cheating public at large. The said land which was booked for various allottees was further sold by accused Haji Adam Jokhio to another builder where another project was being launched, instead of handing over to allottees from whom he collected huge sums of amounts. The arrested accused was produced before the Accountability Court which has granted 14 days of physical remand.
