Accountability process in Cooperative Department to be expedited: Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo

Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo has asked the concerned officers to expedite accountability process and maintain transparency in Sindh Cooperative Department and make certain amendments in Cooperative Housing Societies Act in order to facilitate the people. This he said while presiding over a meeting on Cooperative Housing Societies matters here in his office on Wednesday. Secretary Cooperative Department Akhtar Inyat Bhurgari, Registry Sohail Baloch, MD SCHA Aijaz Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Karachi Naveed Ahmed Abbasi and other officers also attended the meeting. Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo added, ‘ We should work as regulatory authority and we should also compare our Act with other provinces’. Provincial minister for Industries Commerce Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo said that elections in Housing Societies be ensured and take action against those administrators who were not performing well..He directed the officers to come up to the expectations of the people and develop a mechanism to put the matters on right track. He asked them to speed up work on Automation scheme in the department and resolve the issues on priority basis. Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo further asked them to coordinate with NAB, FIA and Anti- Corruption in cases and maintain all records on modern lines. ‘ Pakistan Peoples Party is committed to serve the masses and we will take all measures to facilitate them’. he concluded.
