Mega projects in Karachi and Larkana Larkana Industrial Zone to be inaugurated in next month

Karachi(HRNW)-Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo has said that Larkana Industrial Zone is opening very soon while a mega project is being set up to eliminate the toxic pollution of Karachi factories. In this regard strict instructions have been issued to the officers of the department for expeditious completion of the project. He said this while presiding over a high level meeting held with Industries and Commerce Department officials here on Monday. The meeting was also attended by Secretary Industries and Commerce Naseem Ul Ghani Sehato, MD Sindh Small Industries Sarwat Fahim, Additional Secretary Riaz Sehato and other concerned officers. The meeting considered mega projects in the Larkana Industrial Zone and the Effluent Combined Treatment Plant for eliminating of industrial pollution in Karachi. The meeting was informed that a mega project of Effluent Combined Treatment Plant is being launched at a cost of Rs 3.65 billion to eradicate pollution of factories in Karachi, while another gift from the PPP government to the people of Larkana is the Larkana Industrial Zone and it will be completed next month. Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that Larkana Industrial Zone will be inaugurated in January. Larkana Industrial Zone will be inaugurated by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and this project is yet another mega project of the PPP government While 90% of the work in Larkana Industrial Zone has been completed, and hopefully the mega project will prove to be a business hub for industrialists including people of Larkana.Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo said that the PPP government believes in public service while the role of the opposition in Sindh is reversed and they are criticizing Sindh Government for nothing.
