Karachi (HRNW)- ACE East Zone raided Education & Local Govt offices to capture official doing dual job in both Departments, simultaneously yet fraudulently. Accused arrested at the spot and one secretary of Union Council issuing him ghost attendance also booked in FIR.
According to the ACE spokesperson, against fraudulent moonlighting ( doing dual job ) in Education Department and Local Govt Department as ministerial staffer, ACE East zone conducted raid in Govt Degree college Gulistan e Johar, in the presence of magistrate. After seizing salary slip and bio-metric attendance record from Education office, another salary slip issued by Union Council 40 Liaqatabad, Local Govt Department Govt of Sindh, showing simultaneous drawl of salary through Local Fund in addition to salary drawn from Accountant General office, accused Nadir Khan has been arrested. Besides, secretary of UC abetting him through issuing ghost attendance in lieu of pocketing 50% salary, so drawn, has also been booked in FIR. So far, investigation has led to suspect 8 other employees illegally appointed against dual jobs, drawing inadmissible & fraudulent salary ( one from AG office and other Local Fund ) to the loss of provincial exchequer. Further investigation continues.
