Pervaiz Elahi never wished to become CM: Chaudhry Sarwar

LAHORE (HRNW) – Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar has on Friday said that Punjab Assembly Speaker and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi never wished to become chief minister.

The Punjab governor said in his statement that the incumbent government is completely in touch with its allies and there is nothing to worry about. He said the guesses of the opposition are nowhere near the reality.

Chaudhry Sarwar said the government committee has decided to continue talks with the allies and it is the responsibility of both sides to cooperate with each other for national interest.

All of us are united under the leadership of prime minister Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen is also a part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the governor said while stressing on working together in harmony.
