Punjab reports six cases of coronavirus

LAHORE  (HRNW) Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Tuesday has confirmed that the number of coronavirus patients has escalated to six in province.

Addressing a press conference, the minister told that a patient belonging to Mandi Bahauddin was in coma when admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward on Monday last night. The patient had recently visited Iran and Muscat, the minister told.

The patient lost life on Tuesday morning, however, the cause of death would be confimed after receipt of test reports of , Dr Yasmin stated.

While urging precautionary measures, the Yasmin Rashid has advised masses to avoid unnecessary travel and stay at home to avoid possible contraction with the deadly virus. She also told doctors at public hospitals to remain alert to cope with any emergency situation regarding Coronavirus.
