Kaira raises concerns about Dengue fever amid coronavirus outbreak

LAHORE ( (HRNW) ) – Peoples Party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has raised concerns of the dengue fever spreading in the country at a time when the government has failed to effectively deal with the coronavirus.

Talking to the media, he said that ever since the government came into power, it has been slow in responding to any emerging crisis. He criticized the government for not taking effective measures on airports as the virus had come from abroad. Even the preventive measures taken on the Iran border were too little, too late.

Qamar Zaman Kaira praised Sindh government for taking timely steps against the spread of the virus while the Punjab government remained completely inactive and ineffective. He also criticized quarantine efforts for the travelers coming in from Iran border.
