LAHORE (HRNW) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday visited various areas of the provincial capital and reviewed closure of markets, shopping malls and restaurants.
The Punjab chief minister visited Johar Town, Jinnah Hospital, Garden Town, Gulberg and Jail Road and directed to ensure implementation of government orders.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the decision to shut down markets and shopping malls is for the safety of masses, adding that the people should come out of their houses when only necessary.
Buzdar said that no one would be allowed to violate government’s orders.
“I am overseeing the ongoing campaign to prevent the coronavirus,” he said and added the decision to shut down restaurants, markets and shopping malls was taken for safety of general public.
