Price of lentils shoots up in Faisalabad

Faisalabad (HRNW) The price of lentils has reportedly shot up in Faisalabad after many shopkeepers claimed they were facing a shortage following the coronavirus lockdown.

Many shopkeepers have stopped selling lentils because of a reported shortage.

Daal channa which was being sold for Rs120 per kilogramme, now costs Rs150. Daal moong is being sold for Rs240 per kg, while masoor for Rs220 per kg.
