Will not stop those wanting to pray in Mosques: Noor-ul-Haq Qadri

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that the government will not forbid people from going to mosques, however, implementation of suggested SOPs will have to be ensured.

The Religious affairs minister while talking to the media, wished that may Allah fulfill his wish to see all provinces observe Ramadan from the same day. He said that the decision taken by the government regarding mosques was a very tough one.

Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that some rules and regulations have been devised for worshippers which must be followed. Moreover, implementation of SOPs in their true sense is the responsibility of the Ulema, he added.

On Monday, the Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked Ulema of different sects to strictly implement 20-point agreed action plan devised to follow the precautionary measures in mosques.
