Muzaffargarh neighbourhood sealed after 4 people contract COVID-19

Muzaffargarh (HRNW)  The Muzaffargarh district administration sealed  Sheikhupura Mohalla after four members of a family tested positive for the coronavirus, confirmed the Muzaffargarh Civil Lines police.

The four people who contracted the virus have been moved to the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital. Their residence has been completely sealed.

Muzaffargarh Deputy Commissioner Shoaib Tareen says the test results of six other family members came back negative while the reports of another two are pending.

The area has been declared a quarantine and police personnel have been deployed to ensure no one heads out of their homes.

DC Tareen has ordered sampls to be taken of every resident of Sheikhupura Mohalla. So far, 52 residents have been tested and the area is being sprayed with chlorine-based disinfectants.
