Lahore (HRNW) A man was arrested for raping and then murdering a 10-year-old boy in Lahore’s Johar Town on Monday, according to the police.
The boy had gone out with his cousin to buy some things from a nearby shop on May 17. His cousin had come back home while the boy had gone alone to another shop.
His parents said that he never returned home. “When he didn’t come back, we started searching for him with our neighbours,” his father said. His body was found from an under-construction site.
After forensic and post-mortem reports and CCTV footage, the police arrested the son of the site’s guard. He admitted to his crime under police custody.
He said that he raped and then killed the 10-year-old by hitting a brick on his head. A case has been registered.
