Faisalabad (HRNW) Fourteen doctors at the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. All of them work in the gynecology ward.
Two family members of the affected doctors recently died of the virus.
Dr Umar, another ward staffer, told media on Thursday that incoming coronavirus patients are not taking precautionary measures, resulting in increasing infections among hospital staffers.
Fiffeen staffers of the ward have been sent into isolation after they also showed symptoms of COVID-19. Dr Umar hinted that the ward may be closed temporarily to disinfect it.
