Pakistan Railways resumes operations of five more trains

Lahore (HRNW) The Pakistan Railways announced on Friday that it will resume operations of five more trains across the country.

The Karachi Express, Rehman Baba, Shalimar Express, Sir Syed Express and Hazara Express have resumed operations. The tickets for these trains can be booked online three months prior to the date of departure.

According to officials, the bookings can also be made through the Railways’ reservation office where one counter will be open for advanced bookings.

An officer of the Railways assured that all coronavirus precautionary SOPs will be strictly implemented at the reservation offices.

Passengers have been asked to bring their own masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and soap with them. The authorities have stopped the entry of unrelated people and installed walk-through gates so that passengers can be disinfected.
