Islamabad (HRNW) A man, identified as Gul Badin, was arrested from Islamabad on Wednesday for transporting drugs from one province to another and supplying them to students.

According to the police, Badin used to buy drugs from Quetta and then supplied them in large quantities to multiple areas in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

He was arrested by the Golra police. Badin had been heading a gang that was involved in smuggling drugs, a police officer said. The police also seized 17kg of hashish from him.

“Badin used to supply these drugs to different university students in the cities,” DSP Khalid Awan said, adding that he got his supply from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
