Swat (HRNW) A man was arrested for murdering his niece and a close relative in the name of honour in Swat, according to the police.
“Muhammad Ali has been arrested under Section 311 of the Pakistan Penal Code against honour killing,” Swat SP Farhanullah said. A case has been registered and he will be presented before a court.
In other news, a man was arrested from Swat’s Charbagh for murdering his son. His accomplices, five other sons, were also detained.
The police said that the suspect had gotten into an argument over a small household matter with his son and shot him out of anger. A case has been registered.
