Chairman NAB takes notice of public complaints against K-Electric

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has taken notice of public complaints against K-Electric.

According to details, NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal, taking note of the complaints, has ordered an inquiry into extended unannounced load shedding and overbilling of billions of rupees.

The Chairman NAB has also directed to inquire K-Electric’s non-compliance with the agreement reached with the government.

He directed to complete the inquiry against K Electric within three months and to acquire all details of the agreements it made with the government. It may be recalled that K Electric is accused of extorting billions of rupees from the public in the form of overbilling.
