I would not respond to any concerns raised by the esteemed judges: Saeed Ghani

Karachi (HRNW)- Sindh Education and Labor Minister Saeed Ghani has said that he would not respond to any concerns raised by the esteemed judges. We are using all the resources we have and as humanely as possible. The opening of the educational institution on September 15 has been decided at a meeting of all the provinces and the federation, followed by a meeting on September 7 to review the current situation. According to the law and powers, the mayor of Karachi gives funds. If the mayor of Karachi is not satisfied, the law will have to be changed. He expressed these views while talking to the media outside the Supreme Court Karachi registry on Monday. Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani in reply to media questions said that a contempt of court petition has been filed against me in the Supreme Court and whenever the Karachi Registry sits here, I have this case and I appear here. He said that he had appeared 5 to 6 times before and also appeared today but my case has not come for hearing yet. Will be back tomorrow. Replying to a question, Saeed Ghani said that he would not comment on today’s observation of the judges. He said that the Sindh government was working according to its available resources. He said that the problems of the people of Sindh province are many and we are trying to solve these problems by using all our resources. That is why people are happy with us that is why they vote for us. To a question, he said that we have a committee on opening educational institutions, which includes all the provincial education ministers and is headed by the federal education minister. Do The committee met last week and decided to open educational institutions across the country on September 15. However, before that, the committee will review the situation of corona virus in the country again on September 7. “If I am asked about the current situation, the situation of corona virus in Pakistan has improved and if this situation continues, we will open educational institutions on September 15, but if the situation worsens by September 7,” he said. Then educational institutions will not be able to open even on September 15. Asked about the performance of the Mayor of Karachi, he said that he should ask the people of Karachi whether they are satisfied with their performance or not. In reply to another question, he said that under the law, we are giving all the resources and powers to the mayor of Karachi and if the mayor of Karachi is not satisfied with it, then the law will have to be amended. To another question, he said that we know that we need to work more in the province but at present we are making full use of the resources and manpower we have. Asked about the opinion given by the esteemed judiciary regarding the mayor of Karachi, he said that only the mayor can give an answer to it. However, if there is any opinion regarding the Sindh government, I can definitely give an answer.
