Augsburg (dpa) – Venezuela striker Sergio Cordova has joined promoted Bundesliga side Bielefeld on a season-long loan, parent club Augsburg said on Monday.
The 23-year-old has at the same time extended his deal at Augsburg until 2025, despite struggling to hold down a starting spot in Bavaria.
“I”m happy at Augsburg but I need match time to aid my development,” he said in a club statement.
Cordova arrived in the Bundesliga in 2017 from Caracas FC.
