Karachi (HRNW)- At the direction of Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department, Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh in a major operation to eradicate corruption has arrested one officer in the Education Department on charges of illegal / fake recruitment. A case was registered against accused Siddique Shahani, Grade 19 former Assistant District Officer Education Matiari and he was arrested by Assistant Director / Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Establishment Matiari Irfan Arbab along with his team in an operation. While other nominated accused Abdul Razzaq Brahmani is at large and raids are being made for his arrest.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started. In a statement, issued here on Friday, Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Anti-Corruption & Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharijo has said that the steps taken by the Anti-Corruption Department to eradicate corruption were commendableb, adding that he asked the officers to take action against those involved in corruption without fear or favor. ‘ No one is above the law and eradicating corruption from the province is his top priority’ . He concluded.
