MQM and PTI were opposing the new district only for scoring political points

Karachi (HRNW) Provincial Minister for Information Science and Technology Taimur Talpur has said that the Sindh government had taken immediate action after the rains yesterday and rainwater was removed from the entire city within a few hours. The Sindh Chief Minister himself oversaw the drainage work.

In a statement, provincial minister Taimur Talpur said that the Sindh chief minister and other cabinet members were present on the roads during the rains and undertook drainage work under their supervision. There is currently no rainwater in any part of the city.

He said that Lahore has been submerged due to recent rains and PTI leaders were busy scoring points against the Sindh government instead of providing relief to the people of Lahore during the rains.

Commenting on the formation of new districts in Karachi, the provincial minister said that in terms of population, district west is the largest district in the whole of Sindh with a total population of 3,914,757. The problems of the district with such a large population cannot be solved easily, it has been decided to create a province for better provision of facilities to the citizens and for the construction and development of Karachi.

He said that MQM and PTI were opposing the new district only for scoring political points. In 2005, Hyderabad district was divided into five parts by former Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim. Similarly, Larkana, Jacobabad and Dadu districts were also divided into two parts. At that time MQM was part of Sindh government. But if the PPP does the same, it is objected.

He said that anti-people people do not seem happy with this decision. the rights of Karachi and the problems of Karachi are hurting those who have wreaked havoc on the whole country, adding that PTI’s noise on Karachi issues is the biggest of this century. It’s a joke. Do you know how much a kilometer of the incomplete BRT marvel that Niazi inaugurated cost the people? Chairman NAB is sleeping after selling Niazi’s horses.

Taimur Talpur further said that I ask if Karachi has deteriorated on its own. I also feel the pain of Karachi no less than anyone. Karachi was deliberately destroyed. Thousands of people were killed in Karachi. We are still for Karachi. They are not doing anything. Until we realize Karachi as our home, Karachi and the province will not be fine. We have to change our thinking and attitude now. First of all, we have to see how the people of Karachi can develop and not ruin the development of Karachi for their own interests.
