Comprehensive plan chalked out to resolve Karachi problems

ISLAMABAD (HRNW) – A high-level meeting was held in Islamabad on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which a comprehensive plan was chalked out to solve the problems of Karachi, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, the implementation of the action plan will begin within 48 hours while a strong administrator for the city will also be appointed. Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will also visit Karachi soon.

It was decided during the meeting that a National Command and Operations Centre would be set up on the pattern of the National Command and Control Centre set up to control coronavirus pandemic.

It was also decided in the meeting that the federal government and Pakistan armed forces will assist the Sindh government under a central system to resolve problems of Karachi.
