Motorway police show unprecedented relief work in collapsed building incident in Korangi

Karachi (HRNW)- On the direction of the Additional IG Dr. Aftab Ahmed Pathan and DIG Malik Matloob Ahmed, the rescue squad arrived at the spot with modern machinery and equipment.

According to the spokesman of Motorway Police Syed Turab Ali, immediately after the incident of the collapsed building in Korangi Allahwala Town yesterday, on the special instructions of Additional IG South Region Dr. Aftab Ahmed Pathan and DIG South Zone Malik Matloob Ahmed, officers and men specially uniformed personnel arrived at the scene with state-of-the-art hydraulic cutter machines along with other rescue agencies. NHMP used professional skills with the help of modern hydraulic machines rescued the injured people and dug out the bodies buried in the rubble of the building in this hour of need.
Sector Commander Indus Highway Ishtiaq Hussain Arain, DSP (Othell) Farhan Ali, in the rescue operation of the Motorway Police DSP Hanif Arif (Karachi M-9) PSO to Additional IG Ahmed Iqbal Afridi and other officers and men participated in large numbers.
The Deputy Commissioner, officers of Army, Rangers and other agencies present at the spot and the people appreciated the unprecedented relief operation of the Motorway Police.

In his statement, DIG South Zone Malik Matloobb Ahmed said that the Motorway Police is not only providing services on motorways and highways but also in case of any sudden or emergency situation in our cities, we consider it our national duty. NHMP is ready to provide help in any troubled situation, we can serve the people. We pray to Almighty Allah to give patience to those who have lost the lives of their family members and give health to those who are injured. Amen.

On the other hand, IG Motorway Police Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam also appreciated the timely action of Additional IG South Region Dr. Aftab Ahmed Pathan and DIG South Zone Malik Matloob Ahmed.
