Bilawal has won the hearts of the people of Umerkot, Taimur Talpur

Karachi (HRNW)- Provincial Minister for Information Science and Technology Nawabzada Taimur Talpur has thanked Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for visiting Umerkot and said that by being present among the people in this hour of trouble. Bilawal has won the hearts of the people of Umerkot.

In a statement, Nawabzada Taimur Talpur said that the people of Umerkot have been suffering from severe hardships since the torrential rains, in which Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the only leader who has healed the wounds of the afflicted. He said that the puppet ruler Imran Niazi, who was claiming for change, did not even bother to mention the people of Umerkot while Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who got one lakh votes from Umerkot, was also nowhere to be seen in this hour of trouble.

The provincial minister said that during his visit, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari followed in the footsteps of his grandfather Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his mother Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and mingled with the people and asked them about their problems. Which is a sign of Bilawal being a public leader.

He further said that recent rains have wreaked havoc across Sindh, more than 60 per cent crops have been destroyed in Umerkot district, this is the time to serve the people and not politics.

He said that the country was currently in the grip of floods due to heavy rains. If the government did not take appropriate steps in time, human tragedy could arise in the country. The federal government should stop scoring political points and focus on public issues.

The provincial minister added that they have been serving the disaster-stricken people since the recent torrential rains, so far they have provided cooked food and tents to thousands of people, but much remains to be done.
