LHC suspends FBR notices to Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (HRNW) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday suspended notices issued by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to vice president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz.

During the hearing of plea filed by Maryam Nawaz against the notices, LHC ordered FBR to submit its reply on next hearing.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz filed an appeal through her counsel against LHC single bench’s verdict, citing the FBR and other relevant officials as respondents.

The appellant states that she has been served a notice by the FBR despite the fact that she had paid all taxes and requested the court to declare it illegal.
